Lizbeth Figeroa v. Southeast Airport Services and AmTrust North Americal of Florida and Wesco Insurance

In Lizbeth Figeroa v. Southeast Airport Services and Am Trust North America of Florida and Wesco Insurance the parties filed a Joint Stipulation for Approval of E/C paid attorney fees and costs. The Motion for approval was denied as claimant did not provide sufficient information for the JCC to determine if the fee was reasonable. The JCC requested an itemized billing statement and the claimant argued that an itemized billing statement would undermine the central purpose of entering into such agreements which, according to claimant, is to limit the time spent in further litigation. The claimant then filed a motion for entry of an order denying the motion for approval of attorney fees and the JCC DENIED the JS for approval of attorney fees for lack of proper supporting documents to show the fee is reasonable.
