Tara Allsopp v. Etheridge Property Management

In the Pensacola workers compensation case of Tara Allsopp v. Etheridge Property Management, the E/C scheduled an IME for the claimant in Panama City. Seeing as this location was over one hundred miles from the claimant, they requested for the IME to be moved to their local area. The E/C defended their choice of IME doctor, arguing that the claimant’s neurologist is also in Panama City. Legally, there are no geographical restrictions on where an IME should be located, causing the JCC to deny the claimant’s motion.

Claimant’s motion for protective order DENIED; E/C’s Motion for IME GRANTED
