Wayne Williams v. Amazon and Sedgwick CMS

In Wayne Williams v. Amazon and Sedgwick CMS the unrepresented claimant, through his own testimony, established he sustained an accident at work and reported the same on the same day it occurred by virtue of a visit to the employer’s onsite medical clinic. Consequently, the JCC rejected the E/C notice defense. However, claimant failed to introduce any medical evidence in support of his claims and as a result the JCC was compelled to deny the pending claims for lack of supporting evidence. Compensability, medical and indemnity DENIED.
